Artizen Director of Education, Jean Sweet, offers personalized hairdressing and finishing classes. Jean is available for consultations, either by phone or in person, to discuss a plan to inspire, educate and motivate salon stylists to develop personal hair styling skills. Stylists who are confident in their hairdressing and sales skills maintain satisfied, loyal clients and receive increased referrals.
My goal is to inspire professionals to be creative, just like I’ve inspired myself over the years by taking the creative career path that I have traveled. Much of my creative inspiration comes from culture and history. I research cultural aspects of how hairstyle artistry came about in different eras and places and study how hair and fashion are influenced.”
To schedule a consultation with Jean, call 847-676-1950 or email [email protected]. During the consultation, Jean will ask questions and listen to salon owners, managers and hairstylists about needs, dreams and goals, in order to suggest a plan for inspirational education.
Jean Sweet will teach hairdressing and finishing tips and techniques using Artizen professional appliances. She will demonstrate how to acheive popular and versatile styles using Artizen tools. She will educate the staff on the benefits of Artizen’s technologically advanced features and becoming Artizen Guild members. This class is a short introduction to hairstyling to inspire hairstylists to work on technique. For a good hands-on hairstyling class experience Jean recommends the 4 hour or full day class.
Note: Salon must have one model for a good demonstration. Could be a client or fellow hairstylist.
Learn how to be creative in your hairstyling – This class starts off with a 1 hour hairdressing demo where Jean will share tips and
techniques that can be used for many different styles. The next 2.5 hours will be a hands-on hairstyling class. Jean will tailor the class to whatever the participants want to learn by choosing from the following types of hairstyling: finishing techniques for styling after a haircut service, up-dos, retro hairstyles, bridal hairstyles and red carpet hairstyling. During this class, Jean will move around the room to provide personal instruction to individuals.
The last 30 minutes will be a group motivational session – to inspire renewed passion for “the love of hairstyling”.
Note: Each participating hairstylist must have a model for a good hands-on training experience. The model could be a client or fellow hairstylist.
